The Royal Welsh Yacht Clubs’ Castle to Castle race 2022 included a field of 10 boats from 6 different Clubs – Ynys Mon, Beaumaris, Deganwy, Llangrannog, Porthmadog and RWYC Caernarfon. The event starts in Beaumaris and finishes in Caernarfon. This year the race was held as part of our 175th Anniversary celebration and a significant amount of the rowers entry fees will be donated to the RNLI. The strong headwind and wind against tide made for a challenging race for all. The first team to cross the line 2 hours 19 mins while the final team crossed in 3 hrs 23 mins.
