WSR Hire Boats
Welsh Sea Rowing own various types of coastal rowing boats and these are available for hire by any WSR affiliated club. The current fleet consists of:
1 x Celtic Longboat – Ysbryd Y Mor (73)
1 x Celtic Longboat – Cariad y Mor (115)
1 x Coastal Double Scull
1 x Coastal Quad Scull
Different hire charges apply to each boat. The initial loan period is 8 weeks and this can be extended by 4 weeks by prior arrangement.

Guidance Manual – Hiring Boats Club to Club

Includes the boat hire and rental agreement, handover and inspection checklists, condition monitoring requirements, damage reporting procedures, and signature forms. Designed to protect both lending and hiring clubs while ensuring the safe management and oversight of Celtic Longboats / Coastal Sculls and associated equipment.

Please note: All booking requests are considered by the WSR committee before being granted. We endeavour to prioritise the allocation of loan boats for new or developing clubs who may not have access to another boat.

Handover Documents
Download the relevant document to ensure smooth handover of any hire boats. This should be filled in and signed by a nominated WSR rep if possible, otherwise the club handing the boat over should fill this in and send to secretary@searowing.wales on the day of handover. Please include pictures of any damages if necessary.
