“Message from WSR Secretary – Apologies to all members who have been awaiting these results. However, unfortunately due to changes on the WSR committee since the last successful League season in 2019, there were no officers who had any detailed understanding of the workings of the points system and the associated spreadsheet used to calculate the results. I have now re-created the spreadsheet handed down by the 2019 committee and made some visual alterations, the workings are the same. There is a difference between 2019 and 2022 league in the application of a 50% attendance rule that was voted on in the 2020 AGM, see explanation below. This has been highlighted on the tables, any crews that have had this rule applied are shown with their total points but ‘no’ qualifying points or placings.

I want to assure all members that next year the league results will be published in a much more timely manner.”

Many thanks, Steve Probert.

Amendments made to points rules at 2020 AGM
“If crews want to compete in the Northern League, they must have attended 50% of the Northern races, same for Southern League they must have attended 50%
of the Southern races. This applies to 50% of the races that your team has taken part in. Points in Joint races still count towards North & South Leagues.”
