09:00 onwards Breakfast and light refreshments available upstairs at Royal Anglesey Yacht Club.
10.15 Coxes Briefing in the downstairs bar.

Open, Vets and Supervets categories, for Celtic longboats.
Sculls are also welcome.
After the races Lunch upstairs & bar downstairs at the RAYC followed by results & presentation of prizes.
Entry fee: Adult £12 per crew member (£60 per Celtic), including post-race food.
Pre-Race decision: 1700, Friday 18th July.
Final Race decision: 0700, Saturday 19th July (Race Officer).

NOTES
1. The races will be run under the Welsh Sea Rowing – Rhwyfo Môr Cymru Racing Rules.
2. The first aid station is at the Royal Anglesey Yacht Club
3. No crew rotation is allowed during the race.
4. SAFETY EQUIPMENT ON THE WATER
Each crew has a collective responsibility to ensure their boat is seaworthy, carries a sturdy tow rope and has a minimum of at least one large bailer, first aid kit, survival blankets, throw bag, plus suitable personal protective equipment for expected conditions which must also include a life jacket for each crew member. A working VHF radio and a whistle is mandatory, it is advised each boat carries a fully charged mobile phone within a waterproof pouch, number, and name to be given during registration. Spot checks may be undertaken prior to launch.
5. CATERING
Lunch will be provided free to competitors.
Supporter lunches can be purchased for £5 on arrival at the registration desk until 10.30am.

7. ARRIVAL IN BEAUMARIS
Trailers are to be unloaded and can be left on the ‘stones’ area of Beaumaris Green, next to the dinghy park, accessed down the road to the RNLI station. The gate will be open from 0800 on Saturday.

All towing vehicles are required by the Town Council to park in the main car park on the Green (chargeable). There is some free parking available on the street (1 hour), but Beaumaris can be very busy.
If boat storage on Saturday night is required, please contact the race secretary.
Please ensure you visit the registration desk to either check in (if you’ve already entered and paid) or to complete your entry on Sunday morning between 0900 and 1030.
8. THE ROYAL ANGLESEY YACHT CLUB
The yacht club will be open to welcome you from 8am on Sunday morning for breakfast, coffee, tea etc and cake during the day before lunch is served.
The bar will be open from midday.
The yacht club has toilets and showers that all visitors are welcome to use.
9. ABOUT THE AREA CAMPING:
Kingsbridge Caravan Park is approximately 1.5 miles outside Beaumaris and has a wide variety of caravan, motor home and tent pitches. www.kingsbridgecaravanpark.co.uk

Plas Yn Llangoed is an Eco Green camp site, with a few pitches for tents, two or camper vans and pre-erected bell tents just the other side of Llandgoed, approximately 3 miles from Beaumaris.

There are also a variety of B&Bs and holiday cottages in town along with a Premier Inn situated just outside Menai Bridge (Bangor Side).
EATING OUT
There are a few options for eating in town, including the Bull and Bishopsgate (see above), The George and Dragon, the Pier House Cafe, Midland Tapas Bar, two fish and chip shops, an Indian Restaurant and Red Boat for your ice cream! The town is normally busy and therefore if you want to eat in, please book in advance.
10. WATER
Please note bring your recyclable bottles, there is a free filling water station at the RAYC yacht club.
