Southern League Race Day – Final South League Race of the 2026 Season

Date: Sunday 4th October 2026

The race decision will be made by 7:00pm on Saturday 3rd October and will be posted on the WSR and FJGRC Facebook pages.

Launching & Parking

Boat offload and trailer parking:
Skirmisher Car Park (SA65 9HA)

Car parking in Fishguard:
Very limited parking is available across the bridge from Skirmisher.
West Street Car Park (SA65 9NG)
Parc y Shwt (SA65 9AP)

There will be no access for cars on Lower Town Quay, however walking spectators and resting crews are welcome.

Entries

Please email Martha on fgjrcsec@gmail.com by 29th September 2026 with:

• Crew registration forms or names of rowers attending
• Crew name
• Class being entered
• Boat name, colour and number for each race entered

Race Schedule

• 11:30 – Ladies’ Race
• 12:30 – Seniors’ Race
• 13:30 – Juniors’ & Novices’ Race
• 14:30 – Mixed Race
• 15:30 – Junior U14 Race

Single and double sculls are welcome in all races.

Entry Fees

£10.00 per Senior entrant
£5.00 per Junior entrant

A post-race vegan meal is included with the entry fee.

Trophies

Please bring along any FJGRC trophies currently held from previous races, or contact Martha if arrangements need to be made.

We look forward to welcoming clubs to Fishguard for the final Southern League race of the 2026 season.
