Message from Fishguard and Goodwick Jemima Rowing Club.

“It is with regret that we’ve decided to cancel our race on Sunday.

Unfortunately the weather forecast is showing it to be far too windy to launch boats and race them and we’ve had too few entries to make it financially viable.”

Race Day – 24^th July 2022

We look forward to welcoming fellow WSR members to our race day.

Location:  See map below. The pin is dropped at our club house (Quay Street, SA65 9NB).

 You are welcome to drop any spectators at * Skirmisher car park (SA65 9LX).

Boats, a crew and the trailer must be taken to the * Ocean Lab car park (SA64 0DE) for launching and you will be directed to the free car park in easy walking distance to leave the trailer.  You will need to row your boat over to Skirmisher, Lower Town to go to the Yacht Club for registration, briefing and to start the race.

• Registration: From 10.00am
• Coxes briefing: At 12.15pm
• Races to start:  At 1.00pm

Please notify Yasmin (fgjrcsec@gmail.com) of how many boats, crews and supporters will be coming by Tuesday 19^th July to enable catering and safety boats to be arranged.  She will send you a registration form to return electronically or bring the printed version with you on the day.

Races: Ladies, Mens, Mixed, Juniors/Novices

Fees: £10 Adults and £3 Juniors (meat or veggie chilli after the races are included in the cost)

Race decision: will be made at 8.00am by Ellie Berry

Please note that barbeque food and cakes will be available for sale throughout the day.
