MYC ROWING, Porthmadog LEAGUE RACE INFORMATION
Date – Saturday, 7th September 2024
Times – High Tide details for Porthmadog: 11.30 at 4.61m

· Registration – closes at 9.30am
(can be done via email beforehand as well, to be received by Thursday, 5th Sept 2024)
· Cox briefing – 10am
· Starting at 10.30am: in order – Ladies – Seniors – Novices & Juniors – Mixed
** Sculls will be set off at the same time as the Celtics in their categories.

Location – Madoc Yacht Club & Harbour, Porthmadog
· Launching the boats from the slipway in Porthmadog harbour and making our way one-by-one around the Pontoon to the start

Please take care of the moored boats and other watercraft on the water
· Once everyone passes the finishing line, please head back to the slip way
· Food, drinks & presentation back at Madoc Yacht Club

Additional notes:
* Cost – £8.00 each per participant
* Tea & coffee will be available before hand, with some bacon baps. Optional to bring a re-usable coffee mug with you.
* Food is being provided at the Yacht Club after the Race (included in the entry price)
* Race(s) – all distances are the same, except for the Juniors. All will be a timed start.
* Parking
· Cars – there are limited spaces at the Yacht Club car park but there are council parking facilities nearby.

NOTE – there is a camera system in place. Unless we have registrations in a timely manner, a fine will be
issued by the operating company which we have no control.
· Celtics & trailers can be kept on the green, by the slip.
* Changing facilities available at the Yacht Club
* Race viewing spots – Borth y Gest, along the beach and further along on the coastal path by the Pill box
