Challenge Race : SATURDAY, 28th September 2024
Join us for the 2024 PYC Rowing Charity Challenge Wreck Race in Milford Haven Saturday 28th September 2024. This 15.5km challenge takes in some of the great coastline at the mouth of the river Cleddau and involves a number of buoy turns and
battling the tide in places!

Pre registration is available (and preferred) by sending the WSR Crew Registration Form to Matthew via email mattrowingpyc@gmail.com

Can all clubs intending to participate please notify PYC with an indication of the number of boats / teams attending along with any special dietary requirements by Wednesday 25th September 2024

(all coxes will be required to carry VHF)
Boats on the water 12:00
First boat away at 12:30 (this is a timed event with staggered start)
High Tide: 16:38 (5.6m)

Race Categories : Ladies, Men, Mixed
Race Fee : Adults £10pp (£50 per celtic)- all proceeds going to charity
Preliminary race decision will be made at 12:00 on Friday 27th September 2024 with the final decision 06:00 Saturday 28th– Visit the PYC Rowing Club Facebook page for updates

Bacon rolls available 09:00– 11:00
Tea, coffee, and cakes available all day
Hot BBQfood will be served to rowers after the races have taken place (this is included in your race fee)– vegetarian options available- please notify in advance if possible
The bar will be open from 10:00 for soft drinks and from midday for alcoholic beverages

PYCcrew will be on hand to help with boat unloading and trailer parking– parking for trailers and cars is FREE
