Stephen Probert Event Details:
The Shropshire Adventure Rowing Club (SARC) are proud to announce the return of the Montford Challenge in 2025.
Navigating the twists and turns of the River Severn the course ensures adequate challenge for both rower and cox. This year brings a slightly different format to maximise race excitement whilst minimising the standing time at the top of the river and allowing crews to bite off just as much as they can chew.
We are grateful to Pengwern Rowing Club for the use of their splendid club house facility and SARC will ensure adequate supply and availability of food, drink, music and post race beer.
The challenging course is the ideal way to kick off the WSRA event calendar and has a reputation for testing the extent (or otherwise) of that winter training. Please for earliest expressions of interest and commitment so that we may crack on with event organisation.
