Beaumaris Rowing Club

Beaumaris Rowing Club offers you a warm welcome!

We are out on the beautiful Menai strait most days of the week, all year round and offer sessions for all abilities and interests.  There is a programme of rowing to suit all tastes including general and social rowing, trips and tours and competitive rowing in the WSR North League, Joint League and Open events.

The Club has five Celtic Longboats and two coastal sculls.

The rowing programme combines general rowing, tours and races.  There are tours along the length of the Menai Strait, around Puffin Island, up the Conwy River, over to Llanfairfechan and other destinations in North Wales. We have also toured successfully further afield to the Lake District, Kinsale and the River Thames.

Club crews take part in WSR League races at venues along the Welsh coast, in the Castle to Castle Race from Beaumaris to Caernarfon, our own Puffin Island Race, the marathon Great River Race in London and the challenging Montford Challenge at Shrewsbury.

The club also has an active social side with numerous events running through the year.
