Beaumaris Rowing Club is delighted to welcome crews to the WSR North League race hosted in the historic town of Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey.

09:00 – 10:00 Registration and check-in at Royal Anglesey Yacht Club, Green Edge, Beaumaris, LL58 8BY
09:00 onwards Breakfast and light refreshments available
10:15 Coxes briefing in the downstairs bar
11:00 First race starts
After racing Lunch, results and prize presentation

Adults: £10 per crew member (£50 per Celtic boat)
Juniors: Free
Post-race food included for competitors

Race Decisions

Pre-race decision: 1:00pm Saturday 18 July 2026
Final race decision: 7:00am Sunday 19 July 2026

Race updates and any cancellation information will be communicated via Facebook. Every effort will be made to contact crews directly using the details provided on entry forms.

Safety Requirements

All crews are responsible for ensuring their boat is seaworthy and equipped with the required safety equipment.

Sturdy tow rope
Minimum one large bailer
First aid kit
Survival blankets
Throw bag
Life jacket for every crew member
Working VHF radio (mandatory)
Whistle (mandatory)

A fully charged mobile phone in a waterproof pouch is strongly recommended. Spot checks may be carried out before launch.

Catering

Lunch is provided free of charge for competitors.

Supporter lunches are available for £5 and can be purchased at registration before 10:30am.

Arrival & Parking

Trailers should be unloaded and stored on the designated “stones” area of Beaumaris Green, adjacent to the dinghy park.

The unloading gate opens from 8:00am on race day.

All towing vehicles must park in the main Green car park (charges apply). Limited free roadside parking is available but spaces are often restricted.

Breakfast, tea, coffee and refreshments available from 8:00am
Bar opens from midday
Toilets and showers available for visitors
Free drinking water refill station

Accommodation

Accommodation options include camping, caravan parks, hotels, B&Bs and holiday cottages in and around Beaumaris. Early booking is recommended as the town can be very busy during the summer season.
