Ladies – Men – Mixed
The Race
Due to the speed and change in tidal direction we experience on the River Severn by Clevedon, The Ladies/Mens race will be on a different course from the Mixed race. The Juniors race will be held in Clevedon Bay away from the tide.
All races will be undertaken with the view of safe return with the tide towards Clevedon Slipway and main beach. We do have stringent limits on safe launch and recovery (Westerly component up to and over 15Mph and the race will be called off). Clevedon will be making a race call on the Thursday evening dependant on how the forecast is looking and advise via our FB page and also direct to registered clubs.

- Men 3.5 mile race
- Mixed 3.0 mile race
- Juniors / Novice 800 meters

Directions/Parking:
Clevedon Promenade will be open to the public. Parking will be available either on the promenade or on surrounding streets, all parking in Clevedon is free. The postcode to aim for is:- BS21 7QU.

On arrival find a safe place to stop and make yourself known, Clevedon will have members guiding cars and should be easily seen wearing high Visibility vests. Assistance will be provided to unhitch and move trailers onto the promenade.
Post race we have secure parking arranged for trailers and boats should any towing visitors be staying overnight. Please enquire for more info

Important Notes
- For safety reasons Clevedon Coastal Rowing Club reserves the right to cancel the race at any time
- All boats must be registered at registration desk
- On the water coxes to wear lifejackets at all times

- Clevedon will assist in recovering boats from the water and onto the slipway, from the slipway to the trailer is the visiting clubs responsibility. Clevedon have two dollies, it would be advantageous for visiting clubs to bring a dolly if they have one.
- Radios will be used, Channel M1 or M2 (Advised on the day, 1037 or P4 for older or ICOM based radios)
- Clevedon has a rocky beach with hidden stone. If you want to beach your boat in between races, please liaise with a Clevedon coastal rower before doing so for advise on best place to beach.
