Two circuits around the stunning Saundersfoot Bay – with a twist…!

This is a fun race to celebrate the spirit of fun Phil had, so as a result we request all crews bring along a flag of their choice to ‘plant’ on the beach.

The race will consist of two four mile laps around a course starting and returning from Coppet Hall Beach. Crews will be required to exit the boat after one lap, plant their flag on the beach and then either them, or a new crew gets back in the boat to row the second lap. There will be no categories, so we ask you to mix up your crews and have fun! (fancy dress optional!)

A highly coveted trophy will be awarded for the fastest team this is a one time event so the trophy will be yours to keep!

Registration and refreshments will be in Saundersfoot Sailing club which is a 10 minute walk from Coppet Hall beach (please note this will be cash only – a cash machine is available outside the Tesco Express in the village)

All profits raised will be donated to ‘Dogs4Wildlife’, an organisation close to Phil’s heart – www.dogs4wildlife.org

All boat numbers must be clearly displayed, and all registration forms completed accurately.

**Please bring dollies to get your boats onto the beach**

Entry Fee = All £8 (over 16s only) (This includes the post race meal)

Pre-race: Bacon rolls, Tea/Coffee and Cakes available for a small charge at Saundersfoot Sailing Club- please note this will be cash only (there are also toilets and showers available) – food will be served to all competitors after the race, at the Sailing Club Toilet, showers and alternative refreshments available at Coppet Hall Beach Centre by the race start

*Parking available at Coppet Hall Beach Centre, only trailers park free, all cars must pay*
(Please arrive in plenty of time as parking can get very busy here, especially if you are towing) Coppet Hall Car park is £5 per day (cards accepted) – further parking is available for cars at Saundersfoot Harbour (£12 per day) and The Regency Carpark, Saundersfoot (£5 per day).
Marshals will direct competitors on arrival.
